Our Story

Pets are our lives! Scott has been working with animals his entire life. He has always had dogs, cats, and even the occasional chicken, and cannot imagine his life without them. With experience in all sizes, ages, and temperaments of animals, Scott and his wife Liz currently share their home with their beautiful American Bulldog mix, Zoey, and a 'foster fail' cat named Rico, who may just be in charge of everything. They often have at least one foster dog in their home, and both Scott and Liz have extensive experience with senior pets, medical needs, and behavior challenges. Most of the foster dogs that come into their care are rescued from euthanasia lists at local shelters, desperately needing medical attention and the love that a stable home can provide. They have fostered various dogs, from chihuahuas who took nearly two months to trust anyone, to a Great Pyrenees battling osteosarcoma.

Scott, a retired high school teacher and family man, raised three boys with his wife and recently became a grandparent! He would love nothing more than the opportunity to care for your pets through their pet care services. Scott has thoroughly enjoyed his retirement as he now spends his days loving, playing with, walking, and giving plenty of belly rubs to the pets he cares for. He believes that allowing pets to stay in their own home, where they feel comfortable, is much less traumatic than relocating them while they are separated from their humans. Scott visits as many times per day as you want, taking the time to pet and talk to them like they are his own. Rico was a foster cat that was only supposed to stay for 2 months. That was 3 years ago! It became clear that we had always needed a cat for some silly and cute moments, while he secretly plots to take over the world. Thanks to our bonded and insured pet care services, we were able to provide him with the love and attention he deserves, along with professional pet sitting whenever we needed.

Zoey just celebrated her 7th birthday, but she hasn't slowed down yet! This girl loves nothing more than to run zoomies in the yard and take over ALL the bed at night. With her spirited personality, she would thrive under the care of bonded and insured pet care professionals, ensuring she receives the best pet care services and professional pet sitting when needed.

It has been almost 2 years since we lost our beloved Lulu to glioblastoma. Our sweet, silly, oversized lap dog and queen of the cuddles was truly the light of our lives. Many of the dogs we foster are hospice, and in her honor, we provide bonded and insured pet care services, giving each one the love they have deserved for so long. This commitment is also reflected in our professional pet sitting, ensuring every pet feels cherished.
